Who gets a Boutonniere?

Starting with the groom of course, both fathers usually receive a Boutonniere. Best Man, Groomsmens and Ushers do as well. And when you want to recognize other memebers of your family or close friends, Grandfathers, a Pastor and Readers might receive a Boutonniere as well.

Should they be different from each other?

Not necessarily. The Groom should have something special, sure, just like you, the Bride! But all Boutonnieres should match each other and the Best Man/Groomsmens should match the Bridesmaids Bouquets. Fathers Boutonnieres should match the Mothers. Having too many different designs could create a feeling of missmatch. So, some differences are fine, but the more they look like each other, the better, specially in the Wedding Pictures.
